The best way to get Hungry Crystals is to farm them from the Unversed called Monotruckers in The Mine, which is a zone in the Dwarf Woodlands map.
You can also buy Hungry Crystals for 350 Medals each from the Medal Shop located in the Mirage Arena.
Getting To The Dwarf Woodlands (The Mine)
To get to The Mine where you’ll be able to farm Hungry Crystals, you must first head to the Dwarf Woodlands. It is located on the lower-left side of the World Map.
The Dwarf Woodlands is the very first map you unlock after clearing the tutorial in the Land of Departure, so it is very accessible even for beginners.
Upon clicking the Dwarf Woodlands map after clearing it once, you’ll be presented with two destination options:
- Mine Entrance
- Cottage Clearing
Make sure to pick the “Mine Entrance” option between the two.
After picking the Mine Entrance as your destination, you’ll be spawned right in the center of the Mine Entrance.
From there, head west and you’ll find the path leading to “The Mine”. This is the zone where you’ll find the Monotruckers.
Farming Hungry Crystals From The Unversed (Monotrucker)
There are four different Unversed in the game that drop Hungry Crystals:

The best Unversed to farm out of all these four are the Monotruckers since they are both accessible early in the game and have the highest drop rate for Hungry Crystals.

How To Beat Monotruckers
Monotruckers are one of the easiest monsters to beat in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, but they do have some tricky moves up their sleeve.
They have decent HP, but they have no resistance against any elements. This means you can use any offensive Command Skill on them and get the same results.

To beat Monotruckers quickly and efficiently for farming purposes, we recommend just rushing them with Normal Attacks or using AoE Command Skills if you encounter a group.

The Mirage Arena is located on the upper-left side of the World Map. You will unlock it after clearing the Dwarf Woodland main quest.
Here, you can purchase Hungry Crystals for 350 Medals each.

Using Hungry Crystals
Hungry Crystals are used as Synthesis Materials when Melding new Command Skills from two existing Command Skills.
Using Hungry Crystals as your Synthesis Material gives your new Command Skill either of the two abilities depending on their type:
