The Mirage Arena is one of the many locations you can visit on the World Map. It allows players to clear various game modes either solo or with other players, which in turn gives them Medals.
Using these Medals, you can buy useful items such as Friendship commands, Synthesis materials, and Shotlocks in the Mirage Arena through the Medal Shop.

Mirage Arena: All Game Modes
You unlock the Mirage Arena as soon as you clear your first map after the tutorial (Land of Departure). It is located on the upper-left side of the World Map.
Upon visiting there, you’ll find that the Mirage arena allows you to choose from two play modes—Online and Offline.
All game modes can be accessed both offline and online except the Versus Mode, where you can battle other players online in a PVP setting.
If you choose Offline, you’ll still be able to play everything except Versus Mode. You’ll be matched with AI-controlled opponents instead of other players.
Arena Mode
Arena Mode is the largest game mode in the Mirage Arena. Here, you can battle countless Unversed and tough bosses to test your skills. It is also the best game mode to farm Arena Medals from.
You also have your Arena Level, which increases as you play more Mirage Arena game modes. The higher it is, the more stages you can access in the Arena Mode.

Versus Mode
The Versus mode will only be made available if you play Online. Here, you can battle other players in a PVP setting, and the winner will obtain Medals for their troubles.
Even if you don’t like participating in PVP matches, we still recommend winning at least 12 times in the Versus mode, as this will give you six Arena Levels.
Command Board
You can also access all Command Boards from the Mirage Arena. However, there are a few key differences between playing the Command Board here and playing the Command Board from your Menu.
For instance, you cannot take any Command Skills as rewards if you play the Command Board online with other players, but at least you’ll be awarded Medals at the end of each game
You can also level up Command Skills here, though we would recommend farming Unversed out in the World Map instead if you want to do just that.

Rumble Racing
In Rumble Racing, you can compete with other players or AI-controlled opponents to see who’s the fastest of them all.
You can also get items and Medals if you get 1st Place in a course, depending on whether you played Rumble Racing in the Mirage Arena or Disney Town.
Here are the items you obtain as rewards if you get first place while playing Rumble Racing in Disney Town:
- Castle Circuit (Victory Line Keyblade)
- Disney Drive (Fire Dash)
- Country Chase (Hi-Potion)
- Grand Spree (Aerora)
You can unlock Rumble Racing in the Disney Town map by getting the Disney Town Pass, which you can only obtain by playing through the story.
Keep in mind that you’ll have to play Rumble Racing once in the Disney Town map before you can unlock it in the Mirage Arena.

You can access the Medal Shop by talking to the Moogle highlighted in the image above.
One of your priorities in the Mirage Arena should be farming as many Medals as you can, just so you can afford all the items listed in the Medal Shop.
