To attach EXP Walker in a Command Skill and obtain it permanently once that Command Skill has been maxed out, you’ll need to use the following Synthesis items when melding:
EXP Walker gives you EXP every time you walk or run, which can be a great way to earn EXP passively.
Getting EXP Walker via Melding
EXP Walker can be obtained as an ability if you meld certain Command Skills together.
Although, you’ll have to get Abounding Crystals, Chaos Crystals, or Secret Gems and use them as the Synthesis item when melding first.
Abounding Crystals have the highest chance of spawning EXP Walker out of the three crystals though, so use them whenever you can.

There are three other abilities you can get when using Abounding Crystals as your Synthesis item:
Possible Abounding Crystal Abilities | Description |
Link Prize Plus | Increases the amount of D-Link Prizes that your enemies drop. (This effect can be stacked) |
EXP Chance | Increases the amount of EXP the player earns once their HP goes below 25%. |
Lucky Strike | Increases the amount of Prize Boxes that your enemies drop when defeated. (This effect can be stacked) |
EXP Walker | Gives the player 1 EXP per step. |

Effects of EXP Walker
EXP Walker increases the amount of total EXP you earn by giving you 1 EXP every time your character steps in any direction.
It doesn’t matter if you walk, run, or slide—you’ll get EXP every time your character moves!

This is a very good ability to have in the early game, but it does fall short once you get to the late game where farming Unversed is much better for EXP gain.

EXP Walker is also not stackable, which further diminishes its worth in the long run.
Still, it’s worth getting a Command Skill with EXP Walker maxed out so you can keep it permanently for each character.
