The Metal Plate or Toadstool’s Frying Pan can be purchased at the Treasure Hunting Toad’s shop in Moleville for 300 gold coins.
When equipped, The Metal Plate becomes a frying pan that boosts Toadstool’s physical attacks damage by 90 points.
Toadstool’s ultimate weapon only becomes available for purchase after defeating the Axem Rangers at the Barrel Volcano and obtaining the 6th Star Piece.

Where to get the Metal Plate
To get to the shop, Make your way to Moleville and enter it from the world map. Afterwards, head towards the house at the left side of the entrance with a mushroom sign outside.

Inside the shop, Speak with the Treasure Hunting Toad setting up shop at the left side of the room to access his inventory. If this is you first time visiting him, He will sell you 3 items. The 1st one is the Lucky Jewel for 100 gold coins, the 2nd item is a Mystery Egg for 200 gold coins and finally the 3rd item Metal Plate for 300 gold coins. Purchasing the metal plate will change its name to Frying Pan in your inventory.

How to use the Frying Pan
To use the Frying pan, Open up your inventory and select the Frying pan and slot it on Toadstool’s weapon tab. This is the best weapon for Toadstool on the game and it gives 90 physical damage and has its own weapon animation.

Executing a perfect timed hit with Toadstool’s frying pan might take some time to get the timing right. The technique is to tap the A button as soon as the first swing connects to the enemy for her to follow up with another swing. With Toadstool’s ultimate weapon equipped, you can now deal moderate physical attacks damage to enemies when you’re not busy healing your party.
