Complete the Islands quest to enable new regional Pok\u00e9mon to appear on the map and use Surf around the bodies of water of Seven Island to encounter Mantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Getting to Seven Island<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mantine can only be found in Seven Island, and is one of the Johto-native Pok\u00e9mon to appear in Gen III games after you finish Celio\u2019s gemstones quest. Make sure to weaken it first, or apply status effects to make it easier for you to catch him.
